Here is a set of Illustrations I did for a university project where I had to make illustrations that supported a Guardian Newspaper article that discussed Climate change. (Disclaimer: this was speculatory work that was never commissioned, nor used by The Guardian Newspaper)
The article itself was based on the effects of climate change on the world in recent years and what the repercussions may be in the future. I chose to focus on animals to pull at the heart strings of The Guardian Newspaper target audience, by placing them in unfortunate situations. The illustrations were created to send the message that habitats for arctic animals are being destroyed and to insinuate that one day they will end up here, searching for a home that doesn't exist.
